Drosophila melanogaster ethylmethanesulphonate-induced neurodegenerative mutations were analysed on dominance/recessiveness. It was found that, among 11 mutations causing brain changes, 2 mutations were dominant and 9 were recessive. By deficiency mapping, 4 recessive mutations were localized in certain areas of X chromosome: mutations 60-15 and 60-16 in 012D02 region or 013└02 05 region; mutations 61-7 and 65-10 in 001└01 or 002└ region of X chromosome.
