Manifestations of the physiological heterosis effect in silkworm lines

The aim of the present work was to investigate the physiological heterosis (PH) effect manifestations by some features of silkworm under the influence of microwaves on parent organisms of different viability lines. The results obtained show that the PH effect by viability features of silkworm may be achieved by the influence applied only in relatively low viability lines. The possibility to obtain the PH effect by features of reproductive ability and cocoon mass is also shown.
