The studies of breading biology of Ñoot were performed during 1998–2010 in Poltava region of Ukraine. The aim of this work was to analyze breading biology of Ñoot’s nests located at the reserve areas. During research period, we collected detailed material from 70 nests in Ukraine. Following conclusions were drawn: 1) Both research areas are the bodies of water, where life conditions give opportunities for successful breading of Coot; 2) The hatches size in Poltava region varieties from 6 to 13 eggs (mean: 9,94+0,63, n=65); 3) The proportion of unsuccessful hatches in the whole period of research was 15,7; 4) As the result of over vegetation of reed the number of clutches declined on rivers on 37,2% in more than 10 years.
