Particular qualities of application of polyethylene glycol-based polymeric carrier for drug delivery to the goal target

Drug delivery refers to approaches, formulations, technologies, and systems, which are used to modify physico-chemical, pharmacological and pharmaceutical properties with the aim of improving their efficiency and safety. A special place among these studies take up the development of dosage forms using nanotechnology. Particular attention among these studies is paid to drug forms development using nanotechnology. Drugs that have not been successful before due to the high toxicity, have a chance at a new life thanks to their inclusion in drug delivery systems. In this article prospects of polymeric carrier application, modified by polyethylene glycol are discribed (VEP-GMA-PEG) to deliver antimicrobial and antineoplastic drugs to the goal targets.
