In this paper the data about the effect of electromagnetic radiation in the radiofrequency range on biological objects are analyzed and summarized. Today it remains a controversial issue what cell structures are target of radiofrequency energy. It is considered that the plasma membrane is the primary target of microwave radiation. The influence of electromagnetic radiation on protein kinase C, NADPH oxidase, ornithine decarboxylase and voltage-dependent calcium channels are analized.
