Monitoring researches of 137Cs and 90Sr radionuclide in the zaporizhzhya reservoir fishes

The Zaporizhzhya reservoir aquatic systems are polluted by Chernobyl origin radionuclides. In view of hydrobiont capacities to accumulate radioactive materials it is important to conduct the radionuclide content monitoring in fish for minimization of radionuclide content transfer in a human body with fish food. The obtained results show that the radionuclide content in the examined fish doesn’t exceed permissible limit. The finding can be used for monitoring researches carrying out the Zaporozhye reservoir fishes radiation load.
