New records of 5 species listed in the Red Data Book of Ukraine are reported from Carpathian Biospheric Reserve during summer-autumn 2011–2014. Detailed distribution, ecological-coenotic features and original macrofotos of Phaeolepiota aurea (Matt.) Maire, Catathelasma imperiale (Fr.) Singer, Strobilomyces strobilaceus (Scop.) Berk., Mutinus caninus (Huds. ex Pers.) Fr. and Lactarius lignyotus Fr. are given. Finding of L. lignyotus poses a particular interest since a large population of this montane species was also found outside the territory of the Carpathian biosphere reserve, in the valley of the river Chorna Tisa (Rakhiv district, Transcarpathian region). This can be considered as a significant argument for the future creation of a special mycological reserve for the conservation of the integrity of this species’ population as well as its future protection.
